I don't even know how they made this at this price! I've used borescopes for DIY stuff before, but to think this was designed for a small child at this price boggles my mind. Build is basic, all plastic, no heft... but it's perfect for a small child. My 4yo has been running around looking under the oven, rocks, mulch in the bed, potted plants, he used it until it died and was so bummed. But after 45 min of charging, he was back at it. The LED has adjustable brightness, which can help save the battery. And it can store photos once I add a microSD card. But even without the card, he's happy just running around looking at things. Love that it charges via USB C. It's great. For a small child, I highly recommend it... it'll keep them busy for hours.

I LOVE this little borescope! It caught my eye immediately because I was thinking how handy it would be to have one on hand when I did honey bee "cut-outs" (that is, rescue bees that have taken up residence in the walls of someone's home. The first step is to figure out where the colony is). Then I saw this 'scope was made for kids. Well, I'm a 67-year old "kid" that is incredibly impressed with her new toy! There is no need to spend a LOT more on the "adult" version since all I want to do is feed the flexible fiber-optics of the 'scope into small holes in wood or drywall to see just where some rascally bees are building their honeycomb (it isn't always right next to the entrance they're using). This boroscope produces sharp, clear pictures within its stated range (2-10 cm), and the light it produces is strong and adjustable. You can zoom in and out, too. With a mini SD card you can take photos and videos. I tested it in one of my bee hives, and plan to be taking lots of wonderful pictures. Its screen size is 2.4." Its field of view is 70 degrees. And its charging time is 2 hours, with a 2-hour battery life between charges. It uses a Type-C charger (fast types not recommended), and a C-to-USB cord is included (the plug end you need to provide; it can take up to 12V). Resolution is 1920x1080. Sure, the professional borescopes may have more bells n whistles, but you get a lot for your money with this little green "kid's" borescope (plus a pair of plastic kitty cat ears above the screen - grin).

This was super super cool! I actually received it right after bringing home a new cat, who immediately started hiding behind the washing machine. I saw this on the table, grabbed it before my kids could even open it, and used it to look for the cat. It worked perfectly! Once my kids got their turn, they had a blast. They explored inside the fish tank, under the couches, behind bookshelves, and pretty much anywhere they could think of. They even asked if they could put it in the toilet, but that was where I had to draw the line! I originally thought this would be a great outdoor toy and didn’t even consider how useful (and entertaining) it would be indoors. The screen quality is great, and the borescope itself feels solid and well made. The arm is flexible but holds its shape well, and the light on the end is surprisingly bright. I’d recommend this to anyone with curious kids or anyone who has ever lost the remote under the couch. Fantastic product!

While this is marketed to kids, I am using it for adult projects. This is helpful for mechanics, electricians, and other technicians because it functions as an above average borescope. Its also light weight and competitively priced. This could work for kids nature‘s projects and I want to emphasize how versatile you will find it. The quality of the pictures is decent and I like it overall. Overall, it’s impressive and the value for money is there for me. The bottom line is that many people will find this useful as a tool as well as for nature discovery.

I ordered this ‘ Kentaith Kids Snake Camera’for my Grandkids to play with when we go camping. They love looking in the knots of trees for bugs and even birds. I figured this bore scope would make their explorations more fun. I am really impressed by this ‘Kids Borescope with Light’ for a number of reasons. Firstly, the toy is self contained…you can use it right out of the box. There was no assembly, and it came charged. There will be no small pieces to loose except for the charging cable, but we have tons of those lying around anyway. Secondly, this ‘Kids Borescope with Light’ is super easy to use…you just turn it on. There was no complicated setup. It worked right out of the box which I definitely like. And lastly, this toy is super fun to use…at least according to my Grandsons it is. I could tell by all the giggles and squeals they made playing with it. The construction of this ‘Kids Borescope with Light’ is quite good. The plastic is thick, and the unit feels solid. The camera tube seems very durable as well. Now just realize, the picture on this ‘Kids Borescope with Light’ is not as clear or detailed as the ones you get from a more professional endoscope. The colors are off, and the images are somewhat grainy. But they are perfectly fine for kids to enjoy. No stars deducted for that. In summary, I can definitely recommend this ‘Kids Borescope with Light’ if you’re looking for an easy to setup and use toy for your kids. We all love it!

This is a fantastic borescope. I can see kids having a lot of fun with this, but I actually ordered it for around the house. I have a more professional one with a 12-ft lead. But sometimes it gets a bit finicky with its app and wifi connection, and the 12 ft camera lead can be a bit unruly for jobs where it's not needed. This is nice for quickly scoping a wall when I suspect damage and looking in small crevices without needing to fully open anything up. I'm not worried about using this to capture images... just to get a quick peek in places in real-time. And this is fantastic for that. So easy to use. Just hold a button for 3 seconds to turn it on and off. Use the zoom buttons if needed. Pull the trigger button if you want to capture an image. Uses USB-C charging which is convenient because we have those cables everywhere (and it does come with its own charging cable). Great product for kids having fun exploring, AND for use around the house.

The kids camera is a fun and educational tool designed to spark curiosity in young explorers.

It features a flexible camera cable with an LED light, allowing children to peek into tight or hidden spaces like tree trunks, under rocks, or inside walls. The images display on a built-in screen, making it easy for kids to use without needing a phone or app. The camera at the end of the cable needs to be adjusted every time you point it at anything buy twisting and turning the cable, would be nice if that was easier.

It's lightweight, durable, and safe for kids ages 3 to 12, with simple controls and a rugged design suited for outdoor adventures. Can be used for camping, science projects, or imaginative play, it makes a unique and engaging gift that blends learning with hands-on discovery. The camera works well in water.

Recommend this camera.

Sure, this is marketed as a kid’s toy. And there are more professional ones for not too much more cost. But this will work as a general use borescope. For me, this would be, engine cylinders, plumbing/drains, gun barrels, etc. - The gooseneck scope wire is a nice length, and has a good amount of rigidity to it. - It has variable light and zoom levels, and it takes good pictures and videos. - I have another borescope that uses a phone, computer, etc. for the monitor and control…so having an all-in-one handheld device without having to download and app, set it up, etc. is really convenient.
However, this scope is missing the following items I consider necessary for typical use. 1. Borescope end accessories: This scope has the typical screw threads on the end. I have a few accessories from my other borescope that fit on this….8.0 mm size. I find the general cap necessary to protect the camera and threads…but the angle mirror, magnet and hook are also useful. So I may order a set to keep with this scope. 2. A carry bag or case would have been nice to protect the screen and cam. But I’m probably being a little persnickety on this one, as it's a device marketed for kids. Overall, it's a great product.
Good Borescope for kids and tinkerers…but it's missing necessary accessories. Good Borescope for kids and tinkerers…but it's missing necessary accessories. I had so much fun using this with my granddaughter. We walked around the yard looking under piles of leaves, holes in logs, under the refrigerator (Yikes!), and more. It's interesting and sometimes scary, seeing what's hidden under things. My granddaughter is almost 2, and a little too young to handle the toy on her own, but she was able to see it all on the viewer.
You can even take pictures to look at later. Very cool toy that's fun for adults too. I definitely recommend.

We are learning about germs and the unseen world. The kids are engaged. All but one who got paranoid for a moment, but this is such a great learning tool. They now want to analyse every thing they come in contact with just so they can see the unseen world. This is their new term for microscopic. We didn't have hd screens when I was growing up so I think this is super cool. They can observe and still feel like they are using high grade technology. It has been a great teaching aid. They now think about keeping things clean and they cover more when they are sick. They now take precautions not to get anyone around them sick and it is all because of this microscope, because before they didn't understand what was going on.
