I taught photography for a number of years, so this is not my first time out with ND (Neutral Density) filters. These filters are high quality photo equipment that is easy to use. The system is a little different, in that they are magnetic vs pure screw-on. The look is distinctive.

There are two filters in the kit. There is a an open screw-on ring to which the magnetic filters attach. There is a lens cap, and a storage pouch with separate, padded, compartments.

The filters appear to be good quality. The metal rings are not particularly heavy, but feel sturdy enough to support the filter.

In reviewing photos, there are no filter artifacts in the photos caused by the filters.

I like the quick change/magnetic feature of this system. I would buy more filters of this style because it saves time, and the filters are sufficiently secure. Also, the snap together feature means I do not risk getting my fingers on the glass and making a print.

One thing to note is that the open, no glass, ring screws on first. The magnetic filter snaps to that. When using this system, other filters need to be the same system if added to the camera lens past the ND filter, or else they need to be screwed. in first and the magnetic filters attached next. For instance, if using a polarizing filter in addition to the ND, the polaroid would be attached first.

This is a system I really like, and a brand that appears to produce very good quality.

Another thing to note: There are no how-to-use-an-ND-filter instructions. But ND (Neutral Density) is easy.

It works like sunglasses for a camera by reducing the amount of light the camera receives.

The slide ring on the ND 2-32 ring? You spin that and the depth of the darkness changes, altering your f-stop without requiring a change of aperture. Like being able to use a wide aperture or low f-stop in brighter light than usual.
So then the camera has a shallower depth of field = more bokeh in more environments if that’s what you need to blur or soften out a background.

Got this filter set for my R6 to use for a variety of things. First off, I lost my lens cap a long time ago and have been wanting to try a magnetic one for a long while. Fortunately, one of the options in this kit IS a lens cap, which is super convenient.

I run a 35mm prime lens for like 80% of the stuff I shoot, and so I already had a lens ring adapter that I used for my VND filter, so slapping that on, and then screwing in the base magnetic mount, I was able to easily get a lens cap!

A far as the quality of everything, it is all top tier. K&F is generally pretty respected in this space, and all of the lens kits are of high quality. The threads are smooth, motions are smooth, and the magnetic fitment between the lenses is really nice. I would say with a lens stack up like this, you are definitely more likely to get dust stuck between the outer filter and your real lens, but nothing a blower can't fix.

The image quality coming out of these is great, as you'd expect and hope for filters at this price, so I was happy with that. I don't think I'll use the black diffusion filter much, but both the CPL and the ND filter are quite useful. I'm happy to see they did not include a useless UV filter, like some other kits, and instead have a set of very useful filters. Granted, the ND32 isn't a lot of light filtering, but it can be helpful if you just need a slight tweak to get your frame rate or aperture right.

Overall, its very expensive, but I really like the kit, and it comes with a really nice organizer for them. Lens cap is awesome, and the magnets make me never want to go back to threaded filters again.
Awesome Kit! Awesome Kit! Awesome Kit! Awesome Kit! Awesome Kit!

The kit works great for the price and makes shooting way easier. I just wish they didn't all off so easily. It's already happened a few times on rocks and hiking trails but I haven't damaged them yet

Convenient walk around filter set that fits great on an old classic Sigma 50 1.4 art I use with the Fuji GFX series. The magnetic mount is a good fit and I love how convenient it is to either go super artsy with bloom with the 1/4 black mist, or do some exposure control with the VND and CPL. There is a pretty gnarly color cast with the Variable ND. It's fixable, but it's pretty big. I didn't see any x cross patterns that are bad, but my testing was only down to 24mm on a full frame camera so will explore this more and update this review. The Black Mist is a lot more noticeable with blooming light sources, but the effect looks more like a 1/8th over a 1/4 black mist.

The case that comes with this set is very nice and small, and it all goes well together. It's a nicely put together kit that has solid results. The magnet kit is extremely convenient.

I put a few images up, one of just the water and rocks is a 30 second exposure. You can see the color cast on some of the images using the VND.
Super convenient total kit that's packed well. Some color cast on the VND, but it all works well. Super convenient total kit that's packed well. Some color cast on the VND, but it all works well. Having used and been annoyed by screw-on filters for years, I was excited to try this magnetic filter system by K&F. I'm kind of a fan of their products, they often seem to find the right balance between quality components and yet still being a good value.

I came back to edit this review because initially I found myself disappointed in the design of the circular polarizer/variable neutral density filter. The way they arrived in the box, the ND filter was stacked under the circular polarizer. Turning one would force the other to turn and both filters could easily be bumped off of the lens.

Reversing these, which is how they are supposed to be, means the CPL goes directly on the lens/magnetic adapter, and next the ND. Yes, the CPL and the ND filters can be separated. You can adjust the CPL to where you need it, and then there is a small tightening knob to prevent if from turning. There is a groove on the CPL where the ND magnetically sits, keeping it secure, and also creating hard stops when you turn the ND from minimum to maximum. This way, both filters stay magnetically secure, the CPL stays put where you've adjusted it, and the ND filter can easily be adjusted as needed. It works very well.
There is some other good news, the magnetic lens cap and the black mist filter do seem to hang on tight to the magnetic adapter ring.

The included case is nice, holds all the included filters, has a bright orange interior so you can actually see what's inside.
The filters have a bright orange band and clear lettering to let you know which one is which.

If there are any criticisms, I do kind of wish there was a simple clear magnetic UV filter included as well, for the other 95% of the time l'm not using a filter for general photos. I also wish that the magnetic adapter ring had front threads so that a regular screw on filter could be used when not using the magnetic filters. I would also like that the different filters were colored differently, rather than all being orange, to make it easier to identify which is which more easily when looking in a camera bag or the filter case. I also don't like that the adapter ring is a bit larger than the 67mm threads; the ring is a bit larger in diameter than the lens diameter. It screws in properly, but it looks a little wonky, That's being nit picky though.

I don't see any obvious color cast with any of the filters but I didn't test them scientifically. If it is there, it is not obvious to my eyes. I also have not had the opportunity to test the variable ND on a wide-angle lens, so I can't comment on vignetting or if any cross pattern is generated with the variable ND. I will come back to edit this review once I have had a chance to test on a wide angle lens.

As far as value, these are well-designed, good quality filters, so the value is there. This can be a starter set for adding additional magnetic filters from their line.
No obvious color cast. Well designed system, good magnetic strength. Works well. No obvious color cast. Well designed system, good magnetic strength. Works well. No obvious color cast. These are high quality filters that are easy to use, swap.and adjust. The attachment system works well and is reliable. I like the lens cap.being included since the original obviously won't. Your original lens hood also won't fit which I should have foreseen but didn't and if I had I would have ordered the 82mm size. then used a adapter ring for my 77mm L lenses as I usually do. The 77mm filters work great with my RF 70-200mm lens and will probably be the main filter set for that lens as long as I don't need the hood. These filters also come in a convenient case that makes the set feel more premium than the plastic snap lock cases you usually get. I'm very happy with these filters and their performance. The color accuracy is excellent. If you are looking for a.high quality polarizing filter it's worth considering these as a step up and having the other filters as well.

The K&F CONCEPT 82mm Magnetic 1s Swap 5-Pack is perfect for video work. Swapping filters is quick and effortless, colors stay true with no degradation, and the sturdy filters fit securely. The included storage case is excellent for keeping everything organized and protected. Easy to throw in your travel camera bag. It’s a great price for a 5-pack, making it an excellent value for photographers and videographers. Using this kit with my Sigma lens.

This filter set is nicely made and machined. It feels good to hold and doesn't feel cheap or low quality.
It has a main magnetic ring that mounts on the camera lens, a circular polarizer + ND filter, a 1/4 black diffuser, and a magnetic lens cap. It all fits nicely in a handy carrying case that also protect the filters in their own individual slots.
It's all easy to use, mounts smoothly, clips to each other securely and well, and is quite handy if you need those filters.
The circular polarizer turns smoothly and darkens/ lightens depending on how you turn it. It is well dampened and won't turn on its own. The filters can be stacked to create different effects. They all click together well and are just the right amount of difficult to pull apart- they won't fall off on their own.
Pretty handy set, price is high but you do get several filters and if they're useful then this is a good value set.

Better quality than the standard K&F. Magnet is quick, thin enough for all of them on with no vignette. The black mist is a little hard to see in that strength if you have the CPL/ND on, but it’s pretty good without. ND is much nicer than the cheaper one without the little lever/lock mechanism. Only complaint with magnet design in general is that adjusting the ND spins the whole thing unless you hold it still. Lens cap is awesome, but same deal. Pulls all the filters with it if you don’t hold it in place. There’s a time and place for the magnet vs screw in if you have both basically. Great for hot swapping and the pouch is awesome. Definitely recommend, but the functionality could be a bit smoother. Works as advertised and good for the price though.
Works as advertised, but a little tricky
