IMO, this is an exceptionally useful tool for people who take video and photos at the same time.

Shooting angles - You can use an Allen wrench to lock down the angles, OR, leave them loose and adapt on-the-fly

There are so many uses for this type of phone mount, it should be standard equipment for any photography enthusiast. You can use it stationary on a tripod, but I think it really excels as a field device that combines camera & phone (or phone & phone) to provide a video & still photo shooting experience.

The cold shoe MagSafe phone holder is great it allows for quick take on and take off access to secure your phone. I use it on my Canon camera to add my phone as a review screen as well.
I also use it to add MagSafe to my favorite tripod and make it quick and easy to use my phone on a project when needed.
I found the flexibility and speed of setup is awesome but the joints could be made a little stiffer to make sure the phone stays in place.

Fits the phone well and the magnet is very secure. The metal body feels solid and the cold shoe is useful for a mic or light. It mounts easily on tripods and stabilizers. The only issue is the hinge, it’s a bit loose and can droop with a heavier phone, even after tightening. Works well overall, but the weak hinge costs one star.

I picked up the K&F Concept Magnetic Metal Phone Mount for my tripod setup, and it’s easily one of the most reliable mounts I’ve used. This phone mount works pretty well for my iPhone with a magsafe case. The magnets are strong, and I like that it clips onto tripods or cameras too ( I use a K&F tripod and a A7iii). The adjustable angles are nice, but it can pop off if you bump it or put something heavier on it. Overall, it’s handy for casual use, just don’t expect it to hold up under a lot of movement.

At first, I was a bit sceptical about using the Alan key to tie it up. However, to my surprise, it held very well, as I use it every day and tie it up about once a week or less.
It's an excellent quality.
