This camera filter is solidly built and feels durable, not flimsy like some budget options. The effect it creates is really unique and adds a nice creative touch to my photos. It fit my lens perfectly. The package also included a couple of lens cleaning cloths. Overall, a reliable and easy to use filter for anyone looking to experiment with different visual effects.

The quality of this filter is a lot higher than the price would indicate. It's built impeccably well, and it has excellent clarity. It fits the lens perfectly, screws on smoothly, stays on securely, and twists smoothly so you can adjust the angle of the flares.

The effect of this filter is quite subtle, but when used correctly (there's a bit of a learning curve), the results are striking. I never expected to need a star filter, but as it turns out, this one is exactly what I need to enhance and emphasize the shininess of some products I photograph without making them look gaudy. Secure and clean in its storage box it is well made and looks very smart.
It screws to a standard Canon 58mm lens smoothly and easily and caused no issues with auto focus of the lens.

I grabbed this 4‑point star filter to see if it could turn my cloudy night shots into something special, and wow—did it. The 18‑layer coating really shines; light cuts through cleanly with no weird glare, and the AGC Japanese glass keeps the flare sharp and distortion‑free. The aluminum frame is surprisingly sturdy, yet it feels light enough to carry in a backpack. What I love most is the freedom to spin the filter 360° and tweak the star points to match the mood—whether I’m shooting a quiet beach at sunset or a glinting necklace in a studio. It’s a tiny tool that adds a whole new level of sparkle to any picture.

Little of the photography I do calls for an effects filter of this type. But I'll keep one on hand that offers high quality and performance. As the most recent of a number of K&F filters I own, this 18-layer, multi-coated, four-point, short-ray star filter does exactly that. The filter threads securely on the front of the camera lens, allowing the effects ring to smoothly rotate and produce light rays at different angles and apparent lengths. At the end of a session or at any stopping point, a lens cap fits easily on the filter front and can remain there protecting your glass while packing gear or until resuming the shoot. The star effect is most pronounced when shooting bright, pinpoint lights and reflections. Focusing can get tricky, though, any time you are shooting toward a light source. Generally, I’ve found autofocus to be effective, nonetheless. Manual mode, however, may work best in some situations. Aperture is also a factor. Experiment with higher, f/16 or f/20 settings and try varying the ratio between the light source and existing light. The effects of a short-ray, four-point filter are more on the subtle side. As with any effects filter, trying to compensate for that by over-using it can quickly produce a gimmicky look. Enhance the scene, don’t recreate it. Included with the filter are a greeting and three microfiber cleaning cloths. There is also a plastic filter case whose difficulty to open is made manageable only by anticipation of the quality filter inside.

FANTASTIC VALUE AND SOLID PERFORMANCE

Building out a full collection of lens filters can get incredibly expensive really fast. That's why I'm always on the lookout for brands like K&F Concept that can deliver a quality product at a much more reasonable price point. This 4 point star filter is a perfect example of that.

I use K&F filters all the time and this one’s another great addition to my set. The 4-point star effect adds a nice sparkle to street lights and signage without blowing out the frame, and the rotation lets you dial the angle for the look you want. The glass is clear, coatings keep reflections down, and the aluminum frame threads on smoothly with no vignetting on my Sony A7IV.

These are great for night city shots, holiday lights, or adding some flair right in-camera. For the price, the quality and control this provides a lot of value, especially if you're shooting any type of light.

This is a great filter for your camera when taking night pictures and videos. It’s a lot more subtle than I thought it would be which is a good thing. It makes lights have that starburst effect, but it’s not overpowering. The filter rotates too like a CPL so you can change the direction of the bursts. Definitely an awesome effect to your pictures especially with the holiday season coming.

So much fun! I’ve never used a filter like this, cpl and nd, nothing creative like this. Definitely a learning curve to it but the effect is excellent.

This star lens filter is well made and gives a beautiful starburst effect to bright points in photos. The glass is clear and the variable design lets me adjust the intensity of the lines easily. It screws onto my seventy seven millimeter lens smoothly and feels secure without causing vignetting.

I used this filter during a night city shoot to add a cross star effect to street lights and reflections.
