This product looks great when you get it out of the box, it comes in a nice padded carry case with handles and a shoulder strap. It comes with basic instructions that give the user the required info to be able to use all features of the tripod.
The tripod itself is very stable and feels extremely well made. The aluminium construction is nice, but does add a little weight, though for the functionality it’s a small sacrifice.
A single leg is detachable allowing for the conversion to a monopod, which as per the images, can be used with the ball head mount. This can be done with no tools required, which gives great flexibility when on location, as it doesn’t require extra gear to be carried.
Towering over me at around 2m tall when fully extended or when reconfigured the centre post can be mounted upside down. The horizontal arm allows for the perfect position for top down shooting or macro photography, giving a reasonable reach with good stability.
Overall I am very impressed with this tripod and would definitely recommend it, especially when compared to competitors offerings, which generally have a much higher price point. K&F have produced a great product that is a pleasure to use.

I can do almost anything I can imagine needing a tripod to do. For some applications you’ll need counterweights.

Nice tripod, don't like the holder that connects to the camera. Bottom could be flat. Would also be nice to have toggles as tenssion screws rather than round tention screws.

My rotation lock knob is stuck at open position, this is day three.
I am returning it, but I'm still deciding on giving it a second chance, else wise pretty well-built, a lot of engineering went into this.

The ended up recommending me using pliers to send it back the other way, it doesn't have a stopper internally which led to that, so I have to be worry of that from now on. It's working again. To top it off they extended my warranty, it's reassuring they are willing to back up their product, I decided to keep it.

I bought this product after weeks of searching, I have a pair of Celestron 20x80 astronomy binoculars which I use as a quick fix rather than taking my heavy and large telescope out.
The tripod is a well made quality piece of kit, I needed a height range to prevent me bending my back and neck to view, with these I can quite comfortably view from horizon to 60 degrees without bending, I could, im sure, go higher, but as with anything the further you extend the less stable things become. I am 5ft 11 inches tall and the tripod is perfect.
Id recommend these to anyone with astro binoculars, they are light as well, very easy to set up and look the part, the carry bag too is ideal. Highly recommended.

Very pleased with this.....Compact and 8ft high ..... Results in it being lightweight and multiple pullouts of telescopic legs and a central column (or arm to the side.) Takes a little longer to deploy that a shorter or,less compact to store, tripod. Very adequate clips clamps and hinges without slop. But do hang a weight or tie down if out in strong wind as 8ft is a lot of wind catch. Not usually a worry for me.... I will mostly use mine indoors for a multi line self leveling LASER level. This can go from floor to ceiling in any average room. Without other fixings or "sky hooks".

Good construction, but very heavy. The head is very small and the coupling with the camera does not bring security.

Got this as I’m a photog student doing product pack shots. It’s my second K&F and I like their stuff. Folds up well, fits in my locker, well made, extends to a good height, the extension arm is a good size. Would recommend.

Very versatile and sturdy bit of kit. It’s also fairly portable and light so it’s not a burden to carry it around. Instructions a bit useless as it took me some time to work out how to horizontal mount so I could get some over the top shot.
The detachable monopod is a plus – super handy for tight spots or when I want to switch up my perspective.
