I bought the 66" Carbon version and have been more than impressed with it so far. I read one review just before purchasing that had me slightly worried - something about the legs not going wide enough to allow it to be sturdy... i can confirm that this is certainly NOT the case! In the standard setup the tripod legs are clearly more designed for height than stability, however with the flick of a switch (or 3) you can easily widen the stance of the tripod as seen in some of the product photos, and this allows for the steadiest of holds for the longest of shots. I went to Lytham St. Anne's on a windy day to do some test shots with my 10stop ND filter, and was amazed that I managed to get crystal clear results - NO shake whatsoever. The quality of this tripod is way beyond my expectations for the price and I would happily recommend it to anyone - i haven't even been paid to write this review! If i could have one very minor gripe in terms of the design of the ballhead, this would be that my camera pretty much covers the built in bubble level therefore rendering it almost useless. I shoot with a canon 6d (24-105mm lens, which is pretty heavy!) - it's not exactly huge as far as DSLRs go, so I'm pretty sure anyone with a DSLR will have the same issue... though you can always use the in-built level... or your eye!

I give this 3.5 stars. It's a well built, sturdy and very light tripod with lots of different configurations but the inabilty to add a tilt arm is a major omission especially for videographers.

Bought this tripod after much research,it seems as good if not better than similar products costing much more. The build quality is excellent & it folds down into a small package in the quality case provided. All in all a good buy at a good price.

I was a little concerned that a lot of reviews for this tripod end with a sentence stating that the reviewer was given a sample for review and wondered whether they were at all "real" reviews. I figured however £50 was worth a gamble. I then talked myself up to spending twice as much on the carbon fibre version. My tripod experience: my first tripod (over twenty years ago) was an awful Jessops budget thing which was a real pain to use. I later upgraded to a Slik with a big ball head. That was nice, but heavy, and the ball head would frequenty slip down slowly with a heavy lens on the camera. This K&F tripod is just awesome. Nothing at all feels "budget" - in fact everything exudes quality. The ball head holds the camera solidly, the panning is silky smooth, and it feels solid. Even the box it came in was nice. The ability to convert it to a monopod as well saves even more money. If I didn't know, I probably would guess its RRP would be at least twice the real price. Love it. And I bought it with my own money :)

This product exceeded my expectations. It has height and light build. Easily manipulated legs. I reckon that I could fix an arm to swivel and tilt onto this.

I recevied this tripod well packaged, like the picture shows. It is as described. I was really satisfied with the steadiless even with the legs and central column fully extended. There is a hood in the central that you could put something to add the weight. And the ball head is really flexible and can be rotated 360°. The product is excellent for the price. I strongly recommend this tripod.
