Square IR ND8 Filter 0.9 (3 Stops) 100 x 100 mm HD Neutral Density Waterproof Optical Glass with Nano-X Coating Technology for Camera Lens
SKU: KF01.1145
K&F ND filter, which allows you to film/photograph with a wide open aperture even in a very bright environment and thus the depth of field can be greatly increased even in well-lit situations. Conclusion: I recommend this filter to everyone for whom a perfect price/performance ratio is important!

After a long research and many comparisons, I decided on this ND8 gray filter.
The decisive factor for me was the price / performance ratio, which I think fits very well.
The filter is top processed, without a visible color cast and just does exactly what it is supposed to.
It helps to extend the exposure time slightly or, in bright sunshine, makes it possible to take pictures with an open aperture.

bought the gradient filter because it was recommended to me by friends. After a few weeks of use I can say that I am more than satisfied with it. When taking photos, it is necessary to darken the sky (e.g. at sunrise or sunset) in order not to get a burned-out sky or too dark a foreground. This is where the filter shows its strengths. The filter can be positioned very easily in the appropriate holder without the risk of it slipping out. This gives you beautiful photos even with long exposures. To expand, I will add more filters of this brand later. I can make a clear purchase recommendation!

Works great if starting out with long exposure photography but it does have a little vignetting and colour cast

ND-Filter sind teuer, das was jeder der sich damit beschäftigt hat. Hier bekommt man aber für gutes Geld auch ein Top Produkt.

It has a good quality and is super processed. The leather case is very chic and protects the glass.

An ND filter that keeps what it promises. As soon as you unpack it, you notice that great value was placed on high quality. The transport cover is already very neatly worked and thus ensures safe transport of the filter. The filter itself is really well made. As soon as you unscrew it, you can tell that everything feels really good. The metal ring is a bit frosted, which ensures a great grip, especially when adjusting. Adjusting between ND 2-32 works seamlessly and is really smooth. Absolutely jerk-free but also heavy enough that nothing changes so quickly. When adjusting it yourself, you don't notice any disturbing influences such as the typical cross, which was often the case with variable ND filters. The value from ND 2 to ND 32 is also perfect for the most long-term exposures. This ND filter is perfect when it comes to sunsets or the typical straightening of water. In addition, the filter is nano-coated so that water droplets roll off directly and the filter cannot fog up in the first place. Which is still important to me was that the filter is not so thick and heavy. This is where the K&F Concept ND Filter really shines. It is almost as thin and narrow as a normal UV filter. A feature that I like very much. Since the filter starts at ND-2, you wouldn't have to write it off even with normal photos and can vary very quickly. After my first tests, I have to say I wouldn't want to be without this filter in my camera bag anymore.

am very satisfied with the optical quality of this filter. Especially in comparison (eg with Cokin) it proves that you don't work with a plastic toy. The transitions are smooth and not immediately (frighteningly) noticeable

The filter looks valuable and the packaging is good. Unfortunately, my copy showed clear vignettes in both the direction of ND32 and ND2, making the filter virtually unusable. In addition, the minimum stop was not clean, so that a clear darkening was already visible at minimum (>ND2), only turned a little further did I actually have ND2. So it went from slightly darkened (>ND2) to bright (ND2) to significantly darkened (ND32). It's a shame, but that's why I sent the filter back. I then did not examine the glass quality more closely.
