Ideal for beginners
Ideal for beginners!!!!! I received mine today and have never used a detector before. Read the instructions (skimmed). Watched a YouTube video and went into the back yard to try it out. My wife found 2 pieces of aluminum while I was setting up the pinpointer. Found were 10 pennies buried about 6 to 8 inches deep, a large metal hook, an old bottle cap and a nail that was buried about 9 inches deep in the first half hour. This thing is awesome. Have fun. I can't wait to really dig into the settings and learn how to use them properly.

Simple operation
Very nice, everything you need to get started and more, very easy to get started with a good manual for operation and setup to get out and find items.
