Good Quality, Works Great For Photo And Video
The quality of this filter is really good, sturdy metal rings and clean clear glass. In the box I received the filter in a nice heavy duty protective case as well as 3 individually wrapped cleaning cloths.
I wasn't sure how useful this filter would be for me, but I am finding new and creative ways every time I use it. This works great for stills as well as video, with video I've found I'm able to create a dreamy voyeuristic effect without having to add much in post. As for stills, it takes some practice and a lot of trial and error but I've been able to come away with some spectacular shots.
Overall I'm happy with the build and use of this filter and can definitely recommend it, it has allowed me to take my photo and video work to another creative level.

Artistic filter
A very interesting artist filter. But the quality isn't as good as some of my other K&F filters. Takes some nice photos.

Simply put, K&F have done a great job with this.
My Sony RX10 has a filter size of 72mm and K&F didn't appear to have that size in their range, so I am going to utilise a step up/down filter to allow me to use this 82mm on my 72mm lens. Once I find it!
Essentially this filter allows you to have a crisp, in focus image in the centreline of the filter but either side you will have a blurry but pleasing image similar to the results from a tilt shift lens but without the expense.
Price at the time of review was £28.99, there is a lot of glass here, and the K&F gear is always good quality.
If you are looking to produce alternate shots then this is a great system.

Want to give it 4 stars but...Heck, it's a 4!
On the plus side, K&F is pricing this reasonably.
They also throw in their obligatory three micro fiber cloths, which I appreciate.
I ordered this in 82mm for my 135mm f/1.8 lens and it was tough going. I just could not get the center focused, and that particular lens is insanely sharp.
So plan B. I reduced the threads and attached it to my Voigtlander 65mm Macro lens with a 67mm filter diameter. Those are the images presented for your perusal.
When pointing in the direction of the sun, you can clearly see where the refraction begins (bamboo fountain images). One was taken with the filter horizontal, and the other was vertical. The filter can be adjusted just like a CPL filter can. If you like that look, great. I was hoping for a more soft transition.
It only occurs against the light however.
Moving on the the Agapanthus flowers (purple). Again I am taking these with the 65mm macro.
The closeup gets the job done nicely. The center is very sharp (the lens is very sharp itself), so the filter is not interfering here. If I pull back a bit (image with many flowers), there is no sharpness anywhere to speak of. The parts that are supposed to be out of focus gets a bit wonky in my opinion.
That may be what you want, up to you.
So, I have found that up close, it does a great job of giving you a nice effect.
But pull back, and it's soft pretty much everywhere.
I suppose if they had removed more glass from the center edges, it would handle better further back.
So, for close up work, you get the center sharpness and a soft diffusion (watch the sun though)
It may have some portraiture abilities, depending on what you desire.
It's a neat filter, but I could not get great results unless I was really close to a subject. Then it was sharp as a tack, meaning it did not get in the way of the lens.
Update: I let the sun go down a bit and decided to try my 20mm f/1.8 with this filter. It's cropped down quite a bit, but as you can see, the subject flower is very crisp. Look at that background! Especially the top horizon.
So in my bit of experience, this filter does very well wide open and starts to flag as you extend the focal length. Makes a bit of sense now. I had a case of UE...User Error.
I personally love that image which I casually knocked off. With some foresight and prep, this filter can produce some trippy images.
Pretty sweet filter.

Artsy filter
Split glass effect looks good for very niche photos. Definitely a fun filter to experiment with especially for a more creative shot. Lens doesn't distort much besides it's intended effect. Running a larger aperture can help with exaggerating the blurry dreamlike effect. Probably won't be in your main photo op kit, but it's always worth having a fun artsy filter to shoot with.

Dramatic effects with centerfield split diopter filter made of high quality metal and optical glass
I've never used a centerfield split diopter filter before, so I have no other similar filter with which to compare this one. This seems to be of high quality metal and optical glass, as usual, from K&F.
I definitely like the different effects I can get using this. The images seem to change based on the focal length of the shot. You shoot so that your subject is in the middle where it will be in focus. The blurry refraction effect happens in the background and all around your subject. It makes for a pretty dramatic shot.
In the package, you get:
> diopter filter
> filter pouch
> storage box
> 3 cleaning cloths
The price is extremely reasonable compare to other similar filters that I've seen. The dramatic effect is going to be useful so I'm going to keep experimenting until I understand how to control the nuances of split diopter filter.

Nice effect filter for the amateur photographer.
The K&F Concept 77mm Centerfield Split Diopter Filter arrived neatly packed in a professionally printed box bearing the K&F branding.
The Centerfield Split Diopter filter offers a distinctive creative touch by producing a blurry refraction effect around the edges while keeping the center of the subject in focus. It turns ordinary shots into psychedelic and abstract works of art.
It’s perfect for various types of photography, whether you’re capturing landscapes, portraits, or working on artistic projects.
The K9 optical glass used in the filter offers high light transmittance and excellent colour reproduction.

The adjustable frame is a nice feature, allowing you to rotate and tweak the filter to suit different settings and create the desired effect.
Plus, it comes with three microfiber cleaning cloths, which are incredibly handy for keeping the filter spotless. The cloths are vacuum-packed, lint-free, and gentle on the filter, making maintenance a breeze.

Create cool "in-camera" effects
This is really fun photographic filter. Having a diopter with a slice cut out of the middle lets you make photos where the centre is in focus, but the sides are blurred. Of course you can do something similar using photoshop, but I believe manipulating photos the organic low-tech way has an organic coolness that you just cannot achieve in digital editing.
I like that the filter can rotate freely when it is attached to the lens, but sometimes wish it was available in different “strengths” so I could choose how far out of focus I wish the edges to be. Based on the thickness of the glass this looks to be a #2 diopter. I think I could achieve more useful effects with a #1 diopter, or even a #0.5 one.
Like all K&F gear I own, this one is very precisely built and uses excellent quality glass. They also include a 3 pack of extremely useful little microfibre cloths for lens and filter cleaning and they work well.

Very fun filter!
I've always been interested in trying a split diopter filter, so this was a fun piece to check out! It's definitely going to take a lot of getting used to, but so far, it's giving a really interesting effect, and I'm excited to get better with it. The threading is nice and smooth, and the whole piece has an excellent feeling quality, so I'm not worried about it damaging or getting damaged.

Produces a great effect
Veyr pleased with the lense and the effect it produces. The lense threading fit my camera without issues adding or removing it. I was able to rotate the lense on the base without having it stick in place or detaching from the camera. The lense came packed in a cardboard sleeve with a plastic box containing the lense. The diecut foam insert that most of my lenses arrive with was not present again. There was very little padding and the lense was just rolling around the box. Starting to think this may be the standard with this particular line from K&F as it is the second to I have received packaged this way. The slightly higher priced lenses from K&F came very well packed and padded.
