The stand is primarily constructed of aluminum alloy. The base is secured with a 3/8" screw hole and a C-clamp. The 3/8" screw socket is thicker than a 1/4" screw socket, making it more durable, less prone to breakage, and more secure. The top of the stand has a 1/4" screw socket and comes with a 1/4" screw mount for light stands, a 1/4" ball head, a 3/8" screw adapter, and a phone clip. This allows for mounting most devices, including ring lights, flat panel lights, webcams, cameras, phones, projectors, and standard gimbals. 

The C-clamp is secured to the desktop by turning the screw at the bottom. Then, align the 3/8" screw hole on the bottom of the stand with the 3/8" screw socket on the C-clamp and tighten. Installation is complete.
