Subtle but good for landscapes
The effect provided by this filter is one of softening contrast while giving bright light sources a more diffuse effect. This creates a soft almost cinematic view which can be likened to an older film type image. The effect is quite subtle and is best seen on wider angle shots with brighter light sources. Really we a re talking about landscape shots and especially those like sunrise or sunset or where there is bright lighting somewhere in the frame.
When used in other scenarios, the effect might not be noticed and a mist filter might be a better option.
For me it's another tool in my bag that will be used for landscape shots.
The filter itself is up to the usual standard we expect from K&F Concept, they are becoming a well known and reliable supplier of accessories.
