Very solid piece of gear
This is an interesting piece of engineering. It took me a couple of minutes to figure out how to release the phone holder, but it is pretty cool to have it built in to the ball head.
The whole piece is very well made and is very solid, as with all things I've experienced with K&F. The machining is precise and it feels like a quality ball head. I appreciate the all-metal design. The magnetic base is large enough to have some very strong holding power, and this is one mount that I might actually consider strong enough to mount to a moving vehicle.
The fact that the base screws off adds to the versatility, allowing it to be mounted to a tripod, monopod or a monkey tail. So far, it has stuck to everything (metal, obviously) that I've tried it on and it does not budge. This is my new go-to mount!
