Impressive Design & Quality!
Wow! I was looking for specialty filters for use with my DSLR lens collection and came across this intriguing K&F Concept Rotating Pentaprism Filter offering. As a long-term hobbyist photographer, I'm always looking for new ideas/methods for expanding my photo-making creativity. This attractive K&F product is certainly another step outside of my usual approach to taking pictures.
This is a unique & hefty glass filter (weighing roughly 4 ozs). It appears well-engineered and beautifully manufactured in every way. I don't see any signs of either manufacturing or handling related blemishing; it's a pleasure to hold this filter and appreciate the construction quality -- both the glass, as well as, the metal components.
I ordered the larger 82mm diameter size, thinking that I could then utilize the pentaprism filter with any of my available lenses, using my step-down ring set for the smaller diameter lens sizes. The filter seems to attach relatively easily to lenses; I had no difficulty, apart from slight basic alignment, threading this filter onto one of my lenses. I mentioned the alignment issue only to alert users to this possibility, which I think has more to do with the size/bulk of the filter; I've never used a filter of this weight before and it takes a bit more concentration/vigilance during the task of first beginning to line it up with one's lens. Once properly aligned, there's no problem completing the installation process (threads smoothly).
I haven't used this K&F Concept filter with much frequency as yet (took a few photos around my home for basic testing), but I'm already seeing pleasing, crisp results, which indicate that the filter is performing well. I just need more usage time to experiment with the new possibilities it will bring to my photography skills.
I highly recommend this extremely well-manufactured, quality K&F product, which is available at a reasonable price point. Additionally, the seller does occasionally offer sales coupons.
