This is a budget charger that works well and charges fairly quickly. Almost half of our team has switched to electric vehicles and having them available on-site at the office is extremely convenient for the day we need to arrive on our hybrid plan. It is lightweight and very easy to use and the screen shows you the exact charging status and battery level.

As we all transition from internal combustion engine cars to PHEVs and electric vehicles, an EVSE becomes a must. I charged my PHEV using a 110V outlet, which took almost seven hours, and I often left the house without the battery fully charged. This EVSE, coupled with the NEMA 14-50 plug I installed, cuts my charging time to about 1 hour and 45 minutes! Actually it would be faster, but the car doesn't allow more than about 15 amps.

At the push of a button the charge changes from 16, 26 to 32 amps. I keep mine at 16A. The cable is long and doesn't get hard in the cold.

The only thing I wish was a bracket to hold up the adapter part. Otherwise, its weight will pull on the plug in the socket and it will flap around everywhere. There is a screw hole on the back, but when I put a screw on the wall and hung it, the thin plastic came off. It didn't break per se, but kept chipping off. I finally got these bracket clamps to fix this problem. A simple hanging cover would have solved this problem and should have been included. But I still gave it 5 stars.

I like that it came with a bag and instructions and was as easy as plug and play. Works for our Mercedes EQE 2023. Unfortunately Mercedes does not offer a charging adapter and the seller told me I would have to buy one from Amazon. Luckily I saw another poster that said they were using it on their Mercedes EQE and thought I would go with this one. Works and no problems so far!

I got the cable before I received the car. So when I plugged the cord into the outlet, I was worried about the red ground fault light. I even tried the cable in a friend's garage with a working system and the red light came on at his house. Do I have a defective cable? I decided to wait for my car and tried the cable. When it is connected to a car and the handshake and connection to the car is established, the red light turns off!

But the cable is truly plug and play!

I can charge it from any 110 volt socket. This is slow, of course, but you can charge it from anywhere. It seems fine at 220 volts, which is 3-6 times faster.
Now I have a portable charger that works on any outlet.

When I changed the settings to high amps in the car settings, the charger went up to 32 amps and the charging time from 75% to 80% decreased from 2 hours 25 minutes to 40 minutes and showed a charging speed of 24 miles per hour. So if I'm in a hurry, I use the 32 amp fast charge. When I'm home and not in a hurry, I use the lower amp ratings to conserve the batteries. pretty neat.
Thank you very much,

Since my electric car is still having a delivery delay, I can't give any long-term experience yet.
Installing the well-made wallbox was easy.
Charging the rental car went smoothly. So to speak, plug and play. Display shows everything important reliably. I just wanted a simple box without a lot of bells and whistles, without apps, etc

We carry this for charging at relatives' homes and RV parks where 220V outlets are available. It is plug and play with a beautiful display and a high quality heavy duty cable and connector. The plug is also of good quality. No communication problems or delays, neither on our Ioniq-5 nor on our Audi E-Tron.

The EV Pure Level 2 EV Charger is an affordable way to add 32 amps to your EV with decent quality and a screen for helpful information. Here are some of the things I learned while owning the device and things to consider before purchasing.

I. Quality – It feels good and is made of good, solid materials. I have other chargers that are better quality but more expensive. I would rate the overall quality in the upper middle of the electric vehicle charger quality scale and suspect it should last a while, assuming the electronics survive.
II. Performance – With an LCD screen to display relevant information, it has performed excellently so far. The cables are a bit thinner compared to most other 32 amp chargers I have. Also, it's a little disappointing that the main cable is shorter at 17 feet. Most are 20 to 25 feet long, which can make a big difference in whether they are needed or not at all if you park near the plug. Only a Nema 14-50 connector is used. So make sure you have one installed.

Overall, it's a solid mid-range choice that's worked perfectly so far and offers a great, affordable way to get 32 amps of juice at home. I will definitely update this review if I ever have any issues with it.

If it is helpful for you to see this product up close, I recommend you watch my attached video in full screen or landscape mode. They say a picture is worth 1000 words, well it's a video!

You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion and is intended to provide you with helpful insights that I wish I had had before choosing this product. Hopefully it helped you make your decision.

I'm happy with this charger, it feels high quality and has nice heavy cables with good connectors. The plugs are secure but not impossible to remove.
I haven't had any issues with overheating or other issues.
I think the price is just right for an affordable electric vehicle charger.
I would buy this charger again.
