I loved having the choice of 4, 6 or 8 points. All 3 star filters were securely wrapped and came in a very sturdy and attractive carry case. Great quality and I am enjoying using them.
Great choice

I am continuously impressed with how much extra K&F includes with their offerings, especially when compared to the prices their competitors are charging. You get this incredibly nice filter holder and a set of 3 filters for the same price that other companies want for just a single filter. Star filters are difficult to work with these days since so many lights are collections of LEDs that throw off odd patterns, but they can still be fun to play with. In my examples I don't have the filters mounted to my lens and am instead holding it in front of the lens. Shot with the M.Zuiko 7-14 on the OM-1 mkII.

This K&F concept 77mm Star Filters Kit includes three starburst filters, each producing 4-point, 6-point, and 8-point cross-screen effects. These filters have added a creative and professional touch to my night photography, especially when capturing cityscapes and holiday lights. The starburst effects are stunning and truly elevate the visual appeal of my images.

The optical quality of these filters is outstanding. Made with ultra-slim optical glass and featuring an 18-layer coating, the filters effectively reduce glare and reflections. This results in clear, sharp images without any unwanted artifacts. I also appreciate the durability and lightweight design of the filters, which make them easy to handle and transport. The inclusion of three cleaning cloths is a thoughtful touch, ensuring that the filters remain clean and free from dust.

One area where the kit could improve is the labeling of the filters. It is not immediately clear which filter produces which starburst effect. This can be a bit inconvenient, especially when working quickly in the field. A simple labeling system would save time and make the filters more user-friendly. Additionally, a better-designed storage case would be a welcome addition to keep the filters organized and protected when not in use.

Despite the minor labeling issue, the K&F Concept 77mm Star Filters Kit offers excellent value for the price. The high-quality optical glass and impressive starburst effects make it a valuable tool for any photographer looking to add some creative flair to their work. I highly recommend this kit for its performance and quality, and I look forward to using these filters in many more photo shoots.

Pros:
High-Quality Optical Glass: The filters are made from ultra-slim optical glass with 18-layer coatings, which significantly reduces glare and reflections, resulting in clear and sharp images.

Beautiful Starburst Effects: Each filter creates stunning starburst effects that add a creative and professional touch to night photography, especially when shooting lights and reflections.

Durable and Lightweight: The filters are both durable and lightweight, making them easy to carry around without adding bulk to my camera bag.

Cleaning Cloths Included: The kit comes with three cleaning cloths, which are very handy for maintaining the filters and ensuring they stay free from dust and smudges.

Cons:
Lens Labeling: One minor issue I encountered is that the filters are not labeled well. It takes a bit of time to identify which filter creates which starburst effect, especially when you're in the field and need to switch filters quickly.

Storage Case: While the filters themselves are of high quality, a better-designed storage case would be a nice addition to keep the filters organized and protected when not in use.

Great case and 3 sets of lens wipes included! These Star filters and some gleam and glimmer to your pics. I used to add these in post after the fact, but this saves you lots of time and bakes it into the photo so you don't have to do any work after! You can turn the filter too and get the Star points to go in different directions! Get Bedazzled!

Let me start by saying how much I love star filters. I used them on my film cameras and they were a blast to use on Christmas lights, street lights, any kind of lights. They add a nice punch to any image that has lights or areas of super brightness. Yeah, you can add them in post-processing but I'd rather get it done in camera rather than futzing around on the computer.

These filters are well made, come in their own pouch, and are a blast to use. I added magnetic filter rings to them. These make popping filters on and off a breeze.
Filter Fun! Filter Fun! Filter Fun!

K&F makes good products, and this is no exception.

This is a 3 filter set which comes in a nice padded holder, which can store all three filters at a time.
You get a 4 point, 6 point and 8 point star set.

Do these filters mimic a starburst by a lens at f/11?...Nope, not even close.
It will give you an artistic look if that is what you are after.
Some lenses do not do starbursts well at all, and if you do have a lens which can, you have to stop it way down to achieve the look.

These filters will give you the starburst effect every time no matter what F stop you are at...so if you need to shoot at f/2.8 AND want a starburst effect, only a filter can do that.

However, it does not mimic a lens starburst, it's much larger and dominant.

It's an artistic effect. I found that sometimes the starburst is far too large, and takes over the image...so experience will help you craft your results.

They are a good value for the price.

These are not really my 'thing' and will get little use from me right now, but still a nice effect and the price is right.
Go for it if you like to experiment!

TL;DR - Looking to bring back 70s glamour? STAR FILTERS. 4/6/8 pointed stars for all your needs.

DISCLAIMER - This review sample was provided to me free of charge. The opinions expressed are solely my own with no input from either manufacturer or Amazon.

This filter set comes with 3 star filters. Each filter will create stars, and the number of points will correspond to the numerical notation on each filter; star 4 will create a 4-pointed star, and star 8 will create 8-pointed stars. Simple right?

The build quality is mid-tier and quite lightweight, but in my experience the machining on the screw threads was very good and mounted smoothly to my lens. Removal was also done with ease, though not nearly as frictionless.

On each filter there is an additional adjustment ring that can be adjusted to turn the orientation of the stars.

Image quality is obviously impact, but if you're buying star filters it's not about technical perfection. It's about the stars!

Included, is a handy filter pouch, which is honestly quite nice considering it's free. My only gripe is that it opens and closes with velcro, which can be an irritating sound during a shoot, but honestly, it's a very minor quibble.

Shockingly, I have nothing negative to say about the set. They absolutely deliver on what they promise, they're built to a level that's more than acceptable, and they're great fun.

5/5 STARS

As a quick aside, I should mention that the star effect is largely dependent on your light source. You will observe a significantly stronger star effect when your light source is highly focused compared to a very diffused light source. See images.
