I'm very satisfied. This thing has so much power for such a low price, fantastic. I expected that there would only be enough light directly next to the cap. But it's really sufficient even at a distance of one meter.

To go with my rather large video lights, I definitely wanted a small, compact "pocket-sized" one, and since I'm very impressed with K&F products, I chose this light.

Unpacking it, I was quite surprised by its small size; it conveniently comes with a charging cable and a storage bag.

It's super simple to use; there are only two buttons: one to turn the light on, the other to change the light color and intensity. You can switch between 3000K and 6500K in 100% increments, and the intensity from 5% to 100% in single-increments.

The light is equipped with a series of "cool white" and "warm white" LEDs that work together harmoniously to achieve the desired color setting. When switching from cool to warm, the required LEDs are switched on and added or subtracted according to the intensity.

This works really well in practice.

You also get a universal base for the cameras, which you then attach to the hot shoe and screw tight. This ensures direct support on the camera and you're ready to go.

The battery lasts for about 1 hour at full load and about 11 hours at minimum load, which is absolutely excellent for mobile use. I've actually never needed 100%; I'm always between 30-55% active, and the battery easily lasts 3-5 hours.

The workmanship of the lamp is absolutely top-notch; it also has an OLED display so you can see the settings. You can even see these in bright sunlight if necessary, although of course you probably don't need the lamp for use then :)

I was totally convinced by it, I use it often and it has been worth every cent for me. Anyone who needs an additional, very mobile and versatile light will be very satisfied with the K&F one.

This review is so simple because it's a good quality light that's very easy to use.

The light is tough. It survived at least one serious impact during shipping. The inner box was damaged from the inside. The specially shaped Styrofoam was also broken. It appears that a violent impact, likely from a fall from a great height, caused the video light to break the Styrofoam and puncture a hole in the box from the inside. Since the metal lampshade encircled part of the light, it suffered a dent in addition to the damage to the Styrofoam and the box. But the dent in the shade is minor and purely cosmetic. Despite this, the light works perfectly, and other than the visible dent in the shade, you wouldn't notice it.

The remote is very easy to use. There are no apps to fiddle with or forget. Just be sure to label the remote, and you're good to go. These lights can belong to one of 16 groups, and within each group, they can receive on 16 different channels. This means you can control 256 different lights with one remote. I can't imagine who would do something like that, but it's nice to have options.

I like that there's no transformer block in the power chain. You just need the standard computer cable that comes with it. If you lose the cable, it's a standard part you can buy anywhere. Okay, not from a liquor store, but you get the idea.

There is a slight fan noise that can get louder over time (I haven't tested it). But for the kind of films I make,

I always read manuals/instructions and glanced at the short guide that came with this light. But the operation is so simple that you really don't need to read the manual.

I was quite curious about this light, as I believe this is the first higher-wattage COB light K&F Concept has produced. K&F has been known for making pretty good quality, inexpensive gear for some time, but in the last year or so, they've seen a significant improvement in the quality of their products, such as their fantastic Black Mist filters.

Given the price, I had tempered my expectations. I mean, this is one of the most affordable 60W Bowens mount lights on the market. When I tested the color accuracy of the light, I was incredibly surprised. I've included a screenshot of that test in this review. The measured light temperature is 5631K! I mean, I have MUCH more expensive lights, including ones from companies like Aputure and Nanlite, that don't reach anywhere near 5600K like this light. There was also just a small shift to the green, and it was small! I was simply blown away by these results!

Another thing I really like is that K&F did NOT make the included reflector one of those crazy hyper-reflectors that so many companies now use so they can increase their brightness specs. The problem with those reflectors is that they create a super bright but small circle of light in the center that then quickly drops off to the sides. This isn't an issue with this light, as K&F included a more traditional reflector that creates a much more even light distribution.

The yoke has a plastic handle, but is still incredibly sturdy. I hung a 36-inch deep parabolic softbox on this light and had no problems with sagging. This mount is much sturdier than the old gold standard for budget 60W lights, the Godox SL60.

The power supply is integrated into the light, just like the Godox SL60, and it comes with one of the longest power cords I've ever seen on a light in this price range. The remote control is easy to use and features a nice, large, bright screen that's very easy to read.

You can set the group and channel number of this light, allowing you to control multiple lights with different settings using the single remote.

The build quality is mostly plastic, as you'd expect from a light in this price range, but it actually feels a bit more solid than the Godox SL60.

If you're looking for a 60W light, I'd strongly recommend skipping the Godox SL60 and opting for this one from K&F instead. Not only is it a much more color-accurate light (actually, one of the most color-accurate lights I've ever used, regardless of the price), the fan inside the light is also a bit quieter AND it's currently about $10 cheaper!

SUMMARY: The 60-watt K&F I'm reviewing here is a great wattage for small indoor shooting areas. And its flexibility is that it works great as a daylight fill for outdoor projects where I need to bring a small subject and/or area close to daylight when the subject is in shadow. Additionally, the cooling fan system on this light is nearly silent. When I held my lavalier microphone directly against the housing during my video, I couldn't hear the fan running. For me, it's been just what I needed when using this light for indoor and close-up setups.

At $130, I was pleased that the price was well within the "good value" range and that the light had the necessary features for my needs.

1. 60 watts for both close-up indoor photography and selective subject lighting outdoors.
2. Cooling fan is virtually silent; again, ideal for close-up camera work.
3. LED is the new "circuit on board" technology for more efficient operation.
4. Color Reference Index 95+ with a daylight temperature of 5600K

6. The remote also has the ability to recognize multiple light heads by assigning channels.

In my video, you can see the remote and manual control functions of the light. And be aware that both the light and remote have a digital display, so you have a brightness reference for setting the light; repeating a previous setup value. Overall, I've found this 60-watt continuous light source to be a great additional tool for my indoor and outdoor video work.

I have several lights of this style in my studio, and the truth is, they're all very similar, but this one has some very interesting details. When it's not too hot, it makes much less noise than others, the red light is great for knowing it's on and not just plugged in, and the remote control works great.

Highly recommended, truth be told .

Very satisfied with the product. It's ideal for studio lighting. Modifiers and umbrellas can be attached to it. It seems durable and hardly heats up.
I use it for video and photography, and the light it provides is good.

I've been looking for a good, affordable LED camera light for ages. I think I've finally found it. This LED light is great for taking photos in dark rooms without any light. It's incredibly easy to use. I also like that you can adjust the brightness and lumens. I highly recommend this light!
