This is a very versatile light that has 12 light effects. We have used this for various photography and video scenarios and it has always met our expectations.

The build quality is excellent, the only downside is that it is quite heavy. This is mainly due to the powerful batteries which is a positive rather than a negative. The light is powerful and easy to use. It’s also quite easy to select the different lighting functions. The battery is good and lasts a significant amount of time between charges.

Overall, a great light, just a little heavy.

A portable, lightweight and bright light for photography, this COB (Chip On Board) light is a great product. The light colour temperature is adjustable to the scene, as is the brightness. It is controllable using the buttons on the light, as well as via the app. It is quiet in operation and I didn't notice the fan. The build quality feels good and solid. Comes with a useful case to store the light, charger and accessories.

This spotlight stands out for its 60W power with adjustable intensity and color temperature, in a very compact format, thanks to a large fan-cooled "COB" LED chip, as has been the trend in recent years among photography and video accessory manufacturers.

It's ideal for small photography studios or outdoor photography/video work, as the spotlight has its own battery, so we don't have to rely on power outlets (with a runtime of between 45-75 minutes, depending on the wattage used).

The power may be sufficient to use it as a fill light and even as a main light in low-light conditions, or as a studio light for product photography/video, but it can never compare to a professional flash or video light that can be used to fully illuminate a scene.

Although similar in features to competing spotlights, it has its strengths and weaknesses, which I'll detail below:

- 60W of dimmable power, allowing us to solve many situations, especially as a fill light or as a main light in some circumstances
- Adjustable color temperature, allowing us to match (or separate) the tone of the spotlight with other lights in the scene
- Internal battery, giving us some independence if we want to record without plugs or cables in the way
- Small size and weight, COB LED formats allow for spotlights that were unthinkable just a few years ago
- App control, so we won't have to go to the spotlight to make adjustments; we can do so from a distance
- Light quality, with a good CRI (faithful color reproduction)
- Flicker-free light, making it suitable for video
- Includes a reflector and silicone diffuser
- The control wheels are also buttons, allowing us to scroll through various intensity and temperature presets, so we don't have to worry about the brightness or temperature. By turning the little wheels, we can make big jumps and get where we want in two clicks.
- Retro design, reminiscent of a Super 8 film camera from the 70s and 80s.
- Very quiet fan; under normal conditions, it's inaudible, so it won't interfere with filming with sound.
- Includes a ball-and-socket handle that allows us to attach the light to a stand, allowing us to tilt it to the angle we need.

Cons ⬇️
- The stench of plastic and chemicals when opening it is brutal.
- Excessive number of buttons; it could have been optimized with far fewer (as other manufacturers do).
- Plastic chassis and buttons, while they feel decent, don't give a sense of high quality.
- The front cover of the LED is also plastic... other brands use high-temperature-resistant glass. I'm surprised to find plastic here; we'll have to see how it holds up under use.

- It includes the absurd "FX" mode, which allows you to create flickers, flashes, and other lighting effects that don't look good in any production, that no one needs, that can't be fully controlled, that no one asked for, and that no one uses.
- The carrying case, while very elegant and high-quality, is excessively large. No one wants to carry around extra space or weight if they're using a compact light that fits in any bag with the rest of their gear. So, on the one hand, the case is great, but it's not practical. Going on a shoot, you'll put the light in another bag with lighting accessories, the cables will go somewhere else, and you don't need a case with space for everything.
- Finally, it's worth mentioning that the mount for attaching light modifiers (essential for true versatility) is a kind of proprietary "mini Bowens" format, not a professional standard. So if you want to use a diffuser window, snoot, or other modifiers, either buy the brand's own, or buy a Bowens mount adapter separately. This is also true of other competing brands. This is due to the need to keep the size as compact as possible, and the Bowens mount is large. However, it also means that if you don't have all your lighting from the same ecosystem, you'll need various adapters or modifiers that only work for a specific light. Fortunately, it already comes with a reflector and a small diffuser, but you'll be limited to the type of light you can achieve with them.

Overall, although I'm very critical, the light does a good job of providing controlled, relatively powerful light in a super-compact size. It has its limitations—it doesn't have a premium finish—but it has quite a few advantages and, above all, a very attractive price, offering something similar to the competition for much less. So, it's an option worth considering for amateur or semi-professional filmmakers who can't yet invest in premium equipment.

I'm pretty impressed at what this can do. Not only is it a great light source to do just about everything you need from main, rim, whatever, but it also has special effects for video as well. Besides color matching the temperature of ambient light, it can augment your scene with simulated candlelight, campfire, etc. Most of them aren't very realistic, but you might find them useful.

This is a great kit. I just kind of wish it had a mini to regular bowens in the kit.

I've never used a video light this strong before, but recently I was filming a musician in a poorly lit room and I just couldn't get enough light with the smaller lights I had. I tried this setup in the same room, and it was more than enough.
These are a big improvement on the lights from a decade ago because with LEDs you can get a range of temperature settings all in one light, and it's battery powered.
The light was very intuitive to use, I was able to figure out how to change the temperature and brightness without consulting the manual, and the knobs make it easy to quickly adjust. The knobs are so much nicer than pressing and holding a button.
I like the retro aesthetic that the light has, but I wonder why they didn't extend it to the grip. The grip is just a modern plastic grip and clashes with the more classic black and silver look of the light itself.
The reflector and diffusor that it comes with are easy to install and work well.
I tried the modes and they're neat, but I don't think I'll have much use for them, except maybe the fades.
I really liked that the whole thing came in a nice case that's pretty sturdy. The case is a bit oversized, and could have been more efficiently laid out, but I don't think I'll have a problem finding a few other things I can carry in it. I do wish it had a little mesh pocket or zippered area in the lid.

as this is the first light I have purchased for my photography business. I would say I do like the quality of the light how much light it gives out, and that you can adjust the tone of the light.
