A solid tripod for hobbyist photographers
This K&F Concept tripod is a solid, well-built stand that offers great stability despite not being the lightest option at 923g. While setup takes some getting used to, the versatility more than makes up for it.
Build & Adjustability
Legs adjust individually with three position options—almost flat, standard width, or narrow support.
Legs extendable between 42cm and 72cm, offering further flexibility.
Toggle mechanism for angle adjustment requires removing tension first, which feels a bit awkward initially but ensures a very secure hold once engaged.
Four-section telescopic top, extending from 40cm to 130cm, with a maximum tripod height just over 2m.
Performance & Usability
Extremely sturdy, making it a reliable choice for heavier equipment.
1/4” screw top—does not include a pan-tilt head, so you’ll likely need to add one depending on usage.

Solid and Versatile
This is a well-made and versatile little tripod that folds down to only 45 cm and yet extends to a maximum height of 2m. There are three different locking positions for the three legs and the tripod feels rock steady in all positions.
The clamps lock all sections securely into place and can be quickly adjusted for minor variations in angle. It is worth noting however, that there is no spirit level built-in to check the angles.
The top of the tripod has a standard 1/4- inch screw mount, however there is no adjustment in the head position. This is fine for using as a light stand but you would need to add a ball/swivel mount to use for a camera.
At the current price of £36, this seems to be good value for a solid little tripod.

Because the center of gravity of the light stand will move forward after the softbox is installed, it is recommended to use a softbox of 60cm or less, and it is recommended to increase the support angle of the leg tube. If conditions permit, you can use a hook to increase the load to avoid the risk of the light stand tipping over.
