A: 1. The Bowens mount has three convex points for clamping on the COB light slot of the Bowens mount. The appearance of the standard Bowens mount and the mini Bowens mount is the same, but the size is different.
2. The standard of the standard Bowens bayonet is that the diameter of the chuck is about 9.8cm, the length of the protrusion is 0.7cm, and the width is 0.9cm. (The picture on the right is what the standard Bowens bayonet looks like)
3. The mini Bowens bayonet first appeared on some portable and lightweight COB lights, and there is no clear standard for the diameter of the mini Bowens bayonet. Although the appearance is a design with 3 concave points, the diameter of the bayonet of each company will be different. Therefore, the size of the mini Bowens bayonet of each mini COB light is different and cannot be universally compatible. Therefore, each brand of mini COB lights will develop its own mini Bowens bayonet compatible softbox. For example, the mini Bowens bayonet COB lights of Smallrig's RC60 RC100 can only be used with the mini Bowens bayonet softbox of Smallrig's RA-D30/60. Nanguang's Forza 60B I/60C/150B/FC-60B/120B/FS-60BCOB lights can only be used with Nanguang's mini Baorong bayonet (Nanguang claims to be FM bayonet) softboxes.
4. The bayonet of our KF34.045 miniCOB light is made with reference to Nanguang's FM bayonet, so our 045 is compatible with Nanguang's FM bayonet softbox. The mini Baorong bayonet softbox we are going to develop is also made with reference to Nanguang's FM bayonet softbox, so our softbox can also be used with Nanguang's Forza 60B/60C/150B/FC-60B/120B/FS-60BCOB lights.
