You get what you pay?
This is the first VND filter above $100 I ever have. And I also have a similar Neewer (1-9 stops) one at only 1/3 price of the K&F VND filter. How they compare? The weight: 33g (K&F) vs 28g (Neewer), they both have hard stops, but K&F feels more solid. When installed on a Lumix 35-100/2.8, Neewer has all the description on the top edge, while all the stop marks on the bottom, while K&F has all the stop marks on the top, which makes the numbers easy to read. And I like that.

K&F filter has 28 coating, and Neewer has only 6 coatings. They both have no obvious color shift. I took 4 pictures from stop 1 to stop 4. On the histogram, K&F curves shift from left to right linearly, but Neewer curves move strangely. I thought perhaps the sunlight intensity changed, so I repeated the tests two more times, but the results were the same. You pay what you get. Later, I will do the similar tests for other VND filters.

With K&F VND filter, I have a more accurate control, and easy to use. The Neewer filter works, if you don't mind its problem. And I will compare this $100 VND with other $50 true color ones, to find out what are the differences.
