Solid choice for camera transport
A solid little camera backpack at a sensible price. At 38 x 27 x 13 cm and 0.89 kg, it keeps the weight down without feeling flimsy. The front-opening main compartment is genuinely useful, I can see everything at a glance and grab the camera or a lens in seconds. Two zipped front pockets keep spare batteries, leads and cards tidy, which cuts down on faff.
After a couple of short walks, the mesh back panel seems to breathe well enough. The shoulder straps adjust from 45 to 83 cm. Padding is adequate rather than plush, fine for a mirrorless body and a couple of small lenses. There is a laptop slot, but protection is modest. I would risk a slim 13-inch, not a chunky workstation. The side loop holds a compact travel tripod securely, a full-sized set of legs feels wobbly. The dividers pop out quickly, so it doubles as a normal daypack. The rain cover does its job.
For £34.99, the features and build feel like decent value, better suited to light kits than heavy rigs.
