While it's pricey, it's a lot smaller than most of your regular vmounts and offers MUCH MUCH more features like easy and fast USBC charging, dtap to the battery itself, and then some. It holds the battery very well and delivers power perfectly. I haven't had any problems with it, but have only used it to power my camera. I'm planning on trying to power a lamp while powering my camera and monitor at the same time. You can get it cheaper, but I don't recommend skipping no-name brands. So you don't have to decide on these, but if you're interested and they're on sale I would 10,000% buy them again.

I have the 99W and it is exceptionally well built. It powers my Canon R5 C and Atomos Ninja V and shoots at 4K and 60fps in ProRes 422 HQ without a hitch for an hour and a half and I still had 46% left.

I've been using this battery for a while and I love it. I had the problem that it seemed to overheat and wouldn't turn back on even when I put it on the charger. I contacted Smallrig and they responded immediately and ended up sending me a new one straight away. Great product and great customer service.

Really good customer service from the team here. One of the batteries I ordered had a defect, I sent them a video of the issues and they replaced they sent a replacement within days. Very happy!

What I like: Finally you are no longer forced to purchase an expensive V-Mount charger! I think that's the biggest advantage of this small rig part. Everything can be charged via USB here. Of course you can also load differently, but I wanted to mention it. The battery charges up to 80% approx. 1% in one minute. That is fast. As is the case with rechargeable batteries, the devil is in the end. There it looks like that the last 15-20% need about 2-3 hours. Discharge: pure storage! 2% performance goes whistle in the first 48 hours. But then the battery remains very constant. Still 97% after 12 days. That's totally fine. What doesn't fit: If you pick up the battery, touch it, want to lift it - you inevitably always come to the on/off button. That can somehow not be avoided .... annoying! Unfortunately, the V-mount system is not yet widely used in normal cameras. Is still rather the bastion of professionals. Therefore, the layman who still decides for such a system is always forced to buy heaps of adapters for expensive money. That hardly makes any sense. Four stars!

Power v mount battery that also looks stylish! Lots of good connections and LED display with a simple but good percentage display - only the price... There's something else.

As for the battery capacity, I thought it was much higher, however, they prefer compact size and weight. As mentioned at the beginning, the price is very high and if you are looking for an emergency battery, all you need is a power bank and you save quite a bit.
