The filter arrived in a traditional round, pancake container that saves a little bulk compared to the large and square translucent boxes I have been receiving for the past year in filter packages. Maybe this is the new trend? I prefer this container myself, but what ever they do, it's nice to have some consistency because my filter boxes are really piling up.

The build quality of the UV Armored filter is what I've come to expect from K&F Concept; clearly printed description on the frame and threads that run smoothly the first and every time going on and off my camera's lens threads. This filter is for my Sony AX-700 camcorder and because the K&F filter accepts the Sony lens cover as well as the actual camera, it can stay in place most of the time.

Part of the year I shoot powersports where I get up close to areas where sand and gravel are flying from competitors passing within two or three feet of me. I can feel the odd pebble and plenty of beach spray hitting me so one of these days this filter is going to save my camera (fixed lens sealed to the camera body). My mirrorless camera has had a K&F Concept UV & Armored filter for about a year, used under the same conditions and the images are not degraded in any way from having that filter attached.
