Essential protection for our unpredictable weather shooting
Got this rain cover five days ago just in time for the mixed weather we've been having this June. Used it last week during a sudden downpour while photographing some street scenes in town - the cover kept my Canon and 70-200mm lens pretty dry. Its TPU material is genuinely transparent enough to see camera settings clearly, which was my main concern before ordering. The adjustable sleeves work well with both my Canon and Nikon setups, though it takes a moment to get the fit right initially. The anti-fogging mesh prevented condensation issues that I've experienced with cheaper covers. The velcro adjustments hold securely without slipping during use. However, the cover is somewhat bulky when folded, taking up considerable space in my camera bag. Also, accessing smaller camera controls through the material requires more finger pressure than ideal. The double waterproof zipper design works smoothly for quick camera access. For our unpredictable Canadian weather patterns, it's proving to be a worthwhile consideration that gives me confidence to shoot outdoors regardless of conditions.
