K&F Concept Magnetic Camera Mount for Action Camera Adapter, Magnetic Mount Base Stand with 360° Rotating Ball Head for GoPro Hero / Insta360 / DJI Action, with Phone Clip
SKU: KF31.156
This thing is AWESOME! I didn't know I need it so badly!!! I got it because I needed a new ball mount to use with my phone and found out that it holds my Canon R50 with ease. I've even mounted an extension that's about 8" long onto this mount, turned it 90 degrees pointing straigh up in the aire, with the magnetic plate on a vertical surface of desk mount for a computer monitor, holding the camera so that it directly above the desk for a bird's eye shot.
It unscrews from the magnetic base, so you can post stuff on your fridge, and mount the ball on a tripod or other 1/4-20 threaded apparatus, the mounting surface converts from a threaded baseplate to a cell phone holder just by pushing it a few inches. I'm thrilled with how much the ball mount can take. It's easier to move the computer monitor's swivel head that was tightened with a wrench than the ball mount. I've also inverted it and it's perfectly stable. I have not tried driving with it on the outside of the car, yet, but that may be the next adventure.

The first thing to notice when you take this out of the box is that it's really solidly built. The ball joint and its tightening screw are well damped and smoothly adjustable, and there's no movement when the screw is fully tightened. The camera-connecting screw is similarly well built with a handy protective cover. And the magnetic base attaches to any solid metal surface with a satisfying clunk (but more of that later).
The next thing to notice is that there are no instructions, either printed in the box or (as far as I can see) on the K&F Concept website. Which means that setting it up to use with a smartphone something of a puzzle. The only description of how to do it that I have found is in the videos on this very Amazon page. There are two little arrows on the side of the base marked "Push" but they're practically invisible in anything other than direct light. And pulling is actually easier than pushing.
Anyway, once you've worked it out you've got a very sturdy magnetic mount that grips your camera tightly and is firm and well engineered.
I don't have an action camera to test out the third mounting option, but I have no doubt it's a strong and fit for purpose as the other two.
My only slight concern is with the magnetic base. It is claimed to support handheld cameras up to 3kg - I tried it very cautiously with a camera and zoom lens weighing just over 1kg and I don't think it would take a great deal more, especially if the underlying surface isn't perfectly flat.
Handy if you need to keep your camera or phone steady and you don't have a tripod with you. But it's not much use without a firm, flat steel/iron surface to attach it to.

This magnetic mount is a game-changer for my GoPro setup. It locks onto metal surfaces like it was welded on—super secure even when driving or filming fast-paced action. The ball head rotates smoothly for easy angle changes, and I love that it works with my phone too. Feels sturdy, installs in seconds, and hasn’t scratched any surfaces thanks to the silicone pad. Definitely a must-have if you shoot on the go!

This is an interesting piece of engineering. It took me a couple of minutes to figure out how to release the phone holder, but it is pretty cool to have it built in to the ball head.
The whole piece is very well made and is very solid, as with all things I've experienced with K&F. The machining is precise and it feels like a quality ball head. I appreciate the all-metal design. The magnetic base is large enough to have some very strong holding power, and this is one mount that I might actually consider strong enough to mount to a moving vehicle.
The fact that the base screws off adds to the versatility, allowing it to be mounted to a tripod, monopod or a monkey tail. So far, it has stuck to everything (metal, obviously) that I've tried it on and it does not budge. This is my new go-to mount!

This K&F Concept Magnetic Camera Mount is made well and very functional. The magnet base hold very strong to any metal surface and the rubber coating keeps it for scratching the surface also. I has different camera mounting options for phones or action cameras. The swivel ball heads locks tight in any position and keeps your camera secure. For the quality and money, I recommend it.

I slapped this on my car's hood to shoot some off-road footage, and it held tight - surprisingly sturdy for its size. The 360 ball head is a breeze to adjust, though the phone mount's design feels a tad awkward when switching orientations. Works great for my action cam, and I appreciate the included accessories for versatility.

This is a great magnetic mount for your phone or action camera.
The magnets are strong but not like super strong. I’ll update this post after I test mounting it to the hood of my truck. Based on what I can feel, I think around town speeds should be safe, but again, I’ll update this section soon.
The base has a nice not scratching protective finish. And the ball head is easy to adjust but secures down very confidently.
I LOVE the oversized turn wheel for the 1/4 20 mount. It makes it easy to get a camera or light off or on. The ease to secure objects is amazing.
It’s great that this doubles as a phone stand as well. It took me a moment to figure out how it opens. It has to slide further than I realized before you can lift it up. Expands wide enough to hold any modern phone + case in landscape orientation.
This is an all around great mount for small cameras, webcams, lights, phones, etc.
I highly recommended this product and love that I was able to get my hands on it. I’ve had the opportunity to receive several products from K&F Concept and I have never been disappointed. High quality products at good prices.

This mount is exactly what you'd expect. Build quality is top notch. It feels solid. Magnet is very strong and is an amazing quick on the fly magnetic stand. I use it for my cell and Osmo action on my car WHEN stationary. Not sure I'd trust it while moving but that's not what it's for. Would highly recommend.

This is a cleverly designed ball head for mounting a camera to a metal surface. The base is a rubberized magnet that has a good amount of force and doesn't feel it would come off easily, and it is also wide which helps prevent movement. The ball head tightens up well and doesn't have any play. The top has a standard 1/4-20 mounting screw that is found on most cameras, and it comes with a mount for GoPro type cameras if you should choose to use it. The photos I've included are intended to show that the base has the ability to slide out and become slightly longer for bigger items. It also flips up and has a spring-loaded arm to hold phones. It will hold a very large phone but it is not wide enough to hold an iPad mini or anything of that size. There is also an additional threaded hole on the base to add additional accessories if you want.
What I like:
-Very clever design, allows standard 1/4-20 mount cameras, GoPros, and phones all in one
-Well machined, tight ball head
-Strong, wide magnet, does not feel like it would come off easily
So-So:
-If using it in a fixed location, it will hold even medium or larger cameras pretty well, but if using it on the outside of a moving vehicle, I would only use smaller cameras, action cameras, or a phone
Bad:
-Nothing really. It does what it is designed to do very well and seems like it was built to last forever.

Wanted a way to slap a GoPro on a vehicle; this mount does the trick. The magnet is definitely strong enough to support the weight of a GoPro 9 and its cage, but removes easily enough thanks to the rubber cover on the magnetic section. As with all the K&F equipment I have, all of the materials and finishes feel really nice and are typically long lasting.
There is one weird design choice, though not one that will impact me as I don't plan on using this for my phone anytime soon. To use the phone holder, one slides the holder section to the side until it flips upright, which would hold the phone perpendicular to the magnet surface in portrait orientation. There is a way to rotate the ball head to place the phone parallel to the surface, but it's awkward. You'd think you'd just be able to put the phone on and have the magnet centered behind the phone, not offset. Again, not an issue so much as just a weird design decision.
